2022- Spring Performance Appraisil

I recieved Accomplished on the majority of my performance and section Proficent. This aprasial shows my ability to  use classroom management and be prepared for my day to day tasks and lessons.

  • Woods seamlessly includes specific stations throughout each unit for the students to work through to review and deepen their understanding of various concepts. Her content knowledge continues to grow as she works to develop PBL's with other contents. Mrs. Woods is knowledgeable of state assessments and the current changes being made. She is able to ensure students will be successful without focusing on test prep.

Mrs. Woods consistently submits lesson plans on time. Her Schoology page is well-organized and easy for students to navigate.

  •

Mrs. Woods utilizes every minute of class time. To ensure students have amply time to work through stations and meet with PBL groups, she utilizes a digital clock to keep students on track. During the stations - students were able to select which station to work on: SMART board activity, online practice, games, independent work,

group work. Mrs. Woods makes herself available to students by asking them what they are working on and providing assistance when needed.

2020/2021 Schoology and Weekly Agendas

This year I utilized our new online platform and found great ways to organzie assignments, content, lessons, stations and more. Students particpated in novel discussions as well as dropboxed assignments from their Drive.  With schoology I was able to add addtional resources such as Ed Puzzle and Brain Pop right into the platform that enabled me to grade through schoology that would automatically put it in the gradebook. With remote learning this year  I also found it useful to create  Weekly Agendas for students to follow. Whether students were remote or in class it became very handy. If a student had to be out they could follow the agenda to know what needed to be done for that day, so they would not get behind. Below is a link to all of the Weekly Agendas I created for the year.

ELA Weekly Agendas

ELA /SS Class Websites

I created websites this year to organize my Third and Fouth grade Classes.

With in each website I had a Welcome Page, Google Calendar Linked in with assignments, Homework tab, Reading tab, Writing Tab, Social Studies Tab,  and PBL tab.
